Healthy Food Centers

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Healthy Food Centers, located at AHN West Penn, AHN Allegheny General, AHN Allegheny Valley, AHN Jefferson, AHN Forbes, and AHN Saint Vincent Hospitals, are resources for food-insecure clients and their families. The Centers are committed to making nutritious meals a reality for more families, regardless of their financial situation.

Most notably, the Healthy Food Centers provide meals that align with doctor-recommended dietary guidelines. Acting as a “food pharmacy” of nutritious food items, the Centers also provide education on disease-specific diets, family-friendly recipe ideas, tips for shopping for healthy foods on a budget, health and weight management, and additional services for other social challenges.
