Healthy Food Initiative for Oncology

AHN Cancer Institute (AHN CI) provides a variety of meal, snack and beverage options throughout its 23 locations. In a continuous effort to evaluate and improve services and amenities for our patients, AHN CI has established the Healthy Food Initiative (HFI), which is designed to make meal, snack and beverage options that are nutritionally optimal available to patients.

Adequate and optimal nutrition helps oncology patients maintain weight, prevent delays or breaks in treatment, tolerate treatment better and prevent infection. Your gift helps for us to continue to provide healthy snack and lunch options for our cancer patients helps to ensure they are getting enough calories and also provides a model of healthy, well-balanced snacks and meal choices that can be maintained for the long-term.
